An entrepreneur and development executive, Bert has developed targeted strategies to develop revenue, funds, investments to several profit and nonprofits; provided direction and guidance to company officers and board members. He has constructed effective public and private partnerships and is recognized for his interactive, facilitating roles and his ability to work well with diverse, organizations and multi-stakeholder groups.
Current development projects include being a founding member of the Medical Cannabis of Texas nonprofit association and a member of the "Do No Harm" Political Action Committee.
His 5 years of legislative experience comes from serving as chief of staff to a Representative and Chairman of the Public Health Committee of the House of Representatives. He has been recognized as an advocate for legislative awareness for water issues.
His accomplishments included developing targeted strategies and polices for the expansion of Q Production’s music market share. He developed additional revenue streams by entering into agreements with Bank One, Warner Bros, and NASCAR, national cloths line, an International television show and multiple “Selena” license agreements
